COBALT OXIDE BLUE

Description

COBALT OXIDE (CoO.Al2O3) - CI PB 28 - 77346

Cobalt oxide blue is a highly stable pigment, like all oxides, which makes it a significant UV- resistant blue pigment.

Characteristics

Because of its excellent UV- and weather-resistance, cobalt oxide blue can be used under practically all circumstances both indoors and outdoors.

Because of its alkali resistance and good colouring power, this pigment is highly suitable for lime- and cement products.

Cobalt oxide blue is acid-resistant and can be used in combination with many chemicals.

As this cobalt blue oxide provides good coverage, it is also widely used in paint products.

The temperature resistance of cobalt blue oxide is higher than 1000°C and the pigment can be used in the production of ceramics.

Cobalt oxide blue is non-toxic.
