Characteristics
CARBON BLACK Carbon black is UV- and weather-resistant and can be used both indoors and outdoors. The pigment is stable in acid as well as in alkaline environments. The temperature resistance is only 250°C. The shade of carbon black is deep black and the brilliance and coverage are very high. Carbon black is often used as a filler in rubbers and most of the reproduced varieties cannot be used in water-borne systems, unless this carbon black has been treated with additives. BONE/IVORY BLACK Bone black is UV-, acid- and alkali-resistant and has a brown black shade and low colouring power Ivory black is a darker tone than bone black.
