EXCLUSIVE DRAGON PIGMENTS

Description

The exclusive dragon pigments are a wide range of extended pigments or blends. These blends are composed of fillers and pigments with perhaps an extra additive.

Many of these blends are made at the request of clients, based on specific demands regarding colouring power, tone and use of pigment. Consequently, the most suitable pigment can be obtained for every use.

Characteristics

These blends based on an extensive range of base pigments have many uses.

The use of these blends can be derived from the composition of the pigments. The pigments may be organic and/or inorganic pigments.

The characteristics of these dragon pigments are determined by the pigments that are used, their concentration, the fillers used and possibly the used additives.

The alkali - and acid resistance, the UV- and the temperature resistance are the most important parameters to be taken into consideration for the use of these pigments. Very specific uses are best after extensive testing of a product. Inorganic pigments are more stable than organic pigments and so more suitable for outdoor use.

Highly concentrated blends are for use with cement- and lime e.g., those with a low concentration are more suitable for oil paints, fertilisers, synthetic materials, and so on.

Fine fillers are more suitable for painting.

Blends always have a higher weight density than the pure pigment and they produce less dust.

The more specific characteristics of the blends will be discussed in the list of the available range.

Dragon pigments do not contain heavy metals.
